Another exciting day here at Film Helicopters. The new Astar/Twinstar gets a real camera system. COOL. Thanks to Grant Bieman/Pictorvision and Chris Chanda/Aerial Camera Ops. We got to do a max VNE flight right up to 150kts to see how the camera would perform pointed straight ahead and sideways to see if there would be any adverse affects to the aircraft. The mount was solid as was the camera. Not that you are going to fly that fast but we wanted to establish a new VNE for the smaller cameras systems. Thanks again to Zimmer Air Services the smoothest twinstar I have ever flown in.
